ENDUROLAND GREAT BRICKHILL

WHEN: SUNDAY 13th DEC 2009 - 10.30am to 3pm
WHERE: GREAT BRICKHILL NEAR MILTON KEYNES

I have just visited the track and it looks the nuts - for those who don't know, Enduroland run Enduro Practice Days where you can potter around at your own pace and do as much or as little as you want. The track is a mixture of nice open hilly grass with a boggy bottom, woodland and nutter sections (which you can easily miss out if you want). Plenty of car parking spaces available. Looks like it will be a good one so get your arses over there and give Boss Hog some stick!

DIRECTIONS: Take the A5 south out of Milton Keynes via the little chef roundabout. Second exit off this roundabout then the first slip road from the A5 signposted Woburn, Little and Great Brickhill. Follow the orange arrows from Little Brickhill up the hill to Great Brickhill. 'Tall Pines' is located up the hill on the right hand side.............Would all road legal quads and bikes travelling to the venue on their bikes please use these entry details and not travel through the village of Great Brickhill. If you are transporting your bikes via trailers and vans entry from Great Brickhill is permitted. Be aware of a large horse riding presence in the area. Please drive carefully and with consideration for the locals.

BE A PART OF THE BIGGEST EVER GLC RIDE OUT

Last years GLC Xmas ride out caused quite a stir amongst the beard and pipe brigade - this year we are aiming to double the numbers - come and be a part of it! Our 2008 Xmas get-together saw 53 participants riding the green lanes of Herts and Beds, this year we have every reason to believe that we could break the 100 mark. It won't be just trail and enduro bikes this year either as there is quite a lot of interest from some of the guys with quads and trials bikes - anything that is road legal is welcomed by the GLC. We think that this gathering will probably be the largest of it's kind ever seen in the UK.

We will be gathering at the Red Lion Public House in Great Offley in Hertfordshire (click here for website) at 10.30am for an approximate 11.15am set-off. We will all be setting off together with marshals spread throughout the group to help with any problems, herd people together and generally make sure no one gets lost! It's not going to be a particularly long route, more a social event really. There will message everyone on the forum with a briefing for the day as well as on the morning of the ride. This is going to be MEGA - DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS HISTORIC GATHERING!!!!!!

CHILLED OUT ANDALUCIA - SPAIN

WHEN: FRIDAY 21st May - MONDAY 24th May 2010
WHERE: ANDALUCIA, SOUTHERN SPAIN

This trip is aimed at those amongst you that fancy a relaxed, no pressure ride out around beautiful Andalucia. As GLC members, we will receive a good discount for the weekend which will include 2 days riding and 3 nights accommodation. We will be riding Honda or CCM 230's on the Explorer tour from Andalucian Trail Tours taking in some amazing scenery, traditional white-washed villages and some fantastic rural trails. We will be taking the SILVER package which retails at £370 - but we will be paying just £320 each saving £50 per person! All we need to sort ourselves is our flights and car hire. Obviously we will need some beer and fodder money.
